Great news for hard-core WoW PvP fanatics: Blizzard has just recently released the latest phase plan for the arena pass. The cost is only $20 USD for each payer to join in battles and win lots of prizes.

The Cataclysm expansion brings so much changes with it. Obviously the changes were Blizzard’s intentions to make the gaming experience much more full-filling and balanced. Nevertheless, I was one of those players who failed to excel right from the start of the expansion because there was just to much to take in at once. As it turned out, after complaining to my friends and at several forums, I realized I wasn’t alone. There were actually a lot of players whose progress was barred by the difference Catclysm presents in comparison to the Wrath of the Lich King expansion.

The worst part was that every time I caught a glimpse of a well-equipped level 85 character, I find myself getting all jealous and disappointed at the same time. That was when I decided to resort to getting a guide and got the Killer Guides Cataclysm guide; which is actually the very first game guide I every bought. As a general rule, I tend to prefer learning my way through a game. But believe me, as soon as I flicked through the first few pages, I realized just what I’ve been missing out on all those years.

I was so use to raiding in big groups in which tactics weren’t as important as quantity in Wrath of the Lich King, given the concept: the larger the raid group, the better the rewards. When all of a sudden size doesn’t matter any more in Cataclysm and a smaller sized raid group would get the same rewards, just less in quantity, I was baffled. I could no longer be just a small part of a big raid group. If I wanted to join raids and have any chance of getting my hands on those rewards, I really had to clean up my act. The raiding strategies in the guide was more than I could ever have hoped for. The same goes for the PvP and PvE tips and tactics that are described in detail.

Besides helping me out with raids, the strategies in the leveling section turned my poor performing character into a level 85 Mage in only a few days. I wasn’t exactly struggling with leveling up, but the strategies was a definite plus and got me leveling up surprisingly fast. To sum it up, I was leveling much faster, earning a lot more conquest and honor points, making heaps of gold and ofcourse, taking on raids like never before. The guide was definitely worth the buy and I would recommend it to just about anyone. A lot of the strateiges and tips shared by the writer are truly unique which caught me by surprise. Some are so simple, yet I have overlooked them. It’s amazing how the writer was able to come up with a collection of highly effective strategies that worked wonders for me into this one single Cataclysm guide.

Elementals are attacking the capital cities as we speak!

1 – Defending capital cities requires players to use sandbags and barricades.

2 – The ‘Tripping the Rifts’ feat of strength is now a lot easier to obtain. Killing elementals of each type while defending cities gives credit for it.

3 – Upon succesfully defending a capital, you can enter the large portal which spawns within the city to fight one of four different mini bosses. These bosses drop ilvl 251 epics.
You may also fight these bosses by using the dungeon finder, but this can only be done while the bosses can actually be engaged, which would be after successfully defending a capital.

There are five new quests for each faction with this phase. The bosses I promised you’d be able to fight appear to be inactive at this point. Let’s go ahead and expect those for phase 4, shall we?

Right now you should be able to pick up two new quests – A Gathering in Outland and Show Me Your Papers. The former simply requires you to visit Thrall / Gavan Grayfeather at the Throne of the Elements in Northeastern Nagrand, the latter is a 4 part quest chain.

Quest 1 – Show Me Your Papers
Head to Orgrimmar’s / Stormwind’s main gate to find lots and lots of npc’s. Use the Proclamation:

Speak with five Citizens who still have the green title above their heads. Untitled ones don’t seem to work. Note – you’ll be immobile for a few seconds after speaking to a citizen.

Quest 2 – Arrest the Infiltrators

Use the Shackles on five infiltrators. These can be found all over town.

Once you’ve shackled five infiltrators, bring them to the Ring of Valor / The Stockade.

Next, you must speak to a detained Cultist, again in the ring of Valor / The Stockade, where you dropped the cultists off.

Quest 3 – Back Under Cover

Equip your Cultist’s Robe and head to Jaggedswing Farm / Mirror Lake Orchard. Speak with Overseer Sintak / Sylandrato receive the Book of Incantions. Visit the altar where you’ve summoned the image of Cho’gall previously and use the book.

Return to the Overseer for the next quest

Quest 4 – I Said the Words

Visit the three cultist summoning circles in Orgrimmar/Stormwind and use the book there. These circles are shown on the map one by one. Check the image below to see all of their locations in Orgrimmar. Sorry, I don’t have one for Stormwind .
