• Defense disappearing – meaning a lot less calculations for the class pre level 80 (for level 80 there are plenty of tools that do the calculations for you. It’s also a major stat in the game, so it’s still not quite sure what this means in terms of gear changes.
• Attack power disappearing – it’s kind of a combination of STR/AGI already, so Blizzard decided to simplify things by removing the stat and just going with primary stats again.
• Haste – probably playing a major part in Death Knight tanking in Cataclysm this stat probably holds the biggest surprises for players of the class. The exact impact the change will have on gameplay is not quite clear yet though.
